What are the official rules for E-Bikes in NSW? 

To be legally used on NSW roads, an e-bike must:

Have a motor that is 250 watts or less.
Be compliant with the European standard EN15194.
Have a motor that cuts off assistance once you reach a speed of 25 km/h.
Not have a throttle or accelerator that can be used without pedalling in excess of 6km/h.
